Just 1.5 hours from Toronto or Rochester, 1/2 hour from Buffalo, and minutes from Niagara Falls, the Niagara Wine Trail awaits the traveler seeking a beautiful combination of wineries, sleepy back wood farm vistas, and a truly rural life within an afternoons drive.

 

Where can I purchase tickets to an event?

  • Wine Trail event tickets may be purchased during the weekend of the event from any winery. Tickets may be purchased at anytime throughout the event weekend.

What hours are your events?

  • Wine Trail event hours are Saturday from 10am - 6pm and Sunday from 12pm - 6pm unless otherwise posted.

Is my wine tasting event ticket good both both days?

  • Yes! Your wine tasting event ticket is good for both Saturday and Sunday of the event weekend so feel free to come both days!

Can you recommend any limo/tour companies or places to stay?

  • We highly recommend any of our associate members listed under the "Travel Links/Associate Members" section on our website. These associate members are familiar with how the wine trail events work and can provide you with excellent service.

Is transporation provided?

Can I get some literature about the Niagara Wine Trail?

  • Sure thing! We have a brochure that we can send you. Please fill out our contact form on the "Contact" page with your name and address and we will mail you a copy. Or you can email us directly at contact@niagarawinetrail.org

Are reservations required or pre-sale tickets necessary?

  • No, there is no registration necessary for our events. Simply pay for your ticket at the first winery you plan on going to and you will be all set. We do recommend that if you are coming in a large group or bus you should call ahead.

Can I visit your wine trail when there is not an event scheduled?

  • Yes! Most of our wineries are open 7 days a week throughout the year, however most do have winter hours so please check out their individual pages for their hours of operation.

How much is it to taste if I do not purchase a Vino Visa Passport or an Event ticket?

  • Wine tsting fees are usually between $2-5 depending on the winery. Ice wine tasting is typically extra. If you were to taste at all 12 wineries without a Vino Visa or Event ticket it would be approx. $25 or more.

Can I have a map of the wine trail?

  • There is a map available online that you can download and print out from your computer on the "Trail Map" page. If you'd like a paper copy mailed to you please fill out our contact form and we can mail you a brochure that has a map inside.
